We recommend keeping your pet on their normal diet during their stay. We suggest you bring your pet’s usual food, bagged and labeled per serving. We can provide daily feedings of Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice if you forget to bring yours.

All of our accommodations come with comfortable, clean bedding including fluffy blankets and raised Kuranda beds. We ask you please leave your pet’s usual bedding at home, but you can certainly bring a towel or shirt with your smell on it to remind them of you.

Q: Where does my pet sleep at night?

Dogs sleep in one of our various room or suite options, all of which are comfortable, climate-controlled, and outfitted with the amenities of home. Soft microplush or fleece blankets on raised cots are provided for a good night’s sleep, along with the soothing sounds of low-volume music.

Q: Is my dog ever left alone?

Kickapoo Ranch Pet Resort is staffed by on-site professionals 24/7, so you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing your pet is supervised at all hours of the day and night.

Q: What safety measures do you have?

Our caregivers are highly trained in industry leading protocols and practices to maintain a high level of care and safety. We also have top-of-the-line air filtration and sterilization systems, antibacterial flooring in our lodging areas, 24-hour security, and double fencing around our entire premises.

Q: What vaccinations are required?

For the safety of all the guests in our care, we require our canine friends to be up to date on rabies, DHLPP (distemper), and Bordetella. We also highly recommend the canine influenza vaccinations.
